Our Mission

We are "dedicated to the mission of preserving and protecting our area’s past so as to imbue in both young and old alike, continued appreciation and reverence for this unique and remarkable place."

Notice:  The Hemet Museum is closed due to the Corona Virus Pandemic until further notice.  This includes the monthly meetings held the 2nd Monday of the month at 6:30 pm at Diamond Valley Middle School.  We hope you are staying safely sheltered in place in your home.  The Destination Coffee Bar & Bistro will be open occasionally for take out orders.

Our meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of each month at 7:00p.m. in the Diamond Valley Middle School Library. The library is located at the corner of State and Chambers. The Hemet Heritage Foundation continues the time-honored tradition of presenting programs on local history at its monthly general meetings.

We need your help. Our members are the backbone of our organization. They give us clout with elected officials, provide critical funds for our operations, and lend a hand on important issues. When you join Hemet Heritage Foundation you become an important voice for historic preservation in your community.
